"A lively story, often brutally honest, told with humor and integrity." is how Jackson Nash describes Queerly Beloved: A Love Story Across Genders by Diane and Jacob Anderson-Minshall in Lambda Literary Review.

While he found "Diane’s highly driven and successful magazine career" engaging and "a good eye-opener," Nash was most intriqued by the section about Diane and Jacob's foster parenting.

In fact he was so engaged by the subject that Nash says he, "would have liked to have read more about this, and would happily read another memoir by the Anderson-Minshalls based mostly on that topic."
